Reminders

*Your child may bring a water bottle to class
*We will have our FIRST SPELLING TEST next week (second week of school) on Friday!
*Meet the teacher will be September 16th from 6-7
*Please sign your child's behavior chart every night...also remove all notes and papers from the front and back pockets.
*Read sight words EVERY night

Cinco De Mayo

Students at Tatum Primary School will be participating in Cinco De Mayo activities on Friday, May 3, 2013.

We need your help with this event. If you would like to make a donation, please select any item(s) below and return this form to your child’s teacher.

Additionally, we are asking for parent volunteers.

Non-Perishable items can be returned any day before May 3rd. Cooked food items must be returned on May 3^rd no later than 8:00 a.m.

sumdog information

ATTENTION:
Miss. Fyffe's class will have their own sumdog accounts in a few weeks! Keep an eye out for their login information. A note will be put in their take home folders explaining sumdog.

We love logging on to sumdog.com and practicing our Math and English skills. I'm sure you've heard your child talk about this wonderful website. There are tons of educational games for all different levels.... Although the year is coming to an end... your child will be able to log on to their account over the summer!! This website will help your child retain what they have learned in first grade and learn new skills as they advance. I highly recommend looking at this website yourself and seeing what all the hype is about.

*Don't have a computer at home? Tatum's public library does :) Just be sure you have your library card to gain access to the computers.

Recycle

Our recycle bins are located between the yellow and blue hallway.

 

We are collecting items for our Earth Day Recycle Drive

items you can bring to school that we will recycle are

1. empty aluminum cans

2. newspapers

3. old cell phones

4. old eye glasses

5. glass bottles

6. plastic bottles

 

We will be conducting our drive until May 1st
